Hi Marketer — marketing agency website

A bilingual site the team runs themselves, scoring a perfect 100 on Google’s speed test on desktop despite a home page carrying 40+ images and customer video reviews.

The problem

The agency needed a site that proves its results — client video reviews, partner logos and outcome numbers. But all of that changes constantly, and waiting on a developer for every edit wouldn't keep up. Image-heavy sites like this also tend to load so slowly that they lose visitors on the very first page.

What we built

Every section of the site is a block the team can rearrange and edit themselves from an easy-to-use admin (CMS) — reviews, services, articles, client logos and contact details — in Thai and English from one system.

Why a homepage with 40+ images still loads fast

  • Ready the moment it opens — pages are prepared ahead of time on servers close to the visitor, instead of being assembled on every visit.
  • Edits go live straight away — hit Publish and just the changed pages update — no developer needed, and drafts never touch the live site.
  • Upload images at any size — every image is resized for the visitor’s screen and compressed automatically, so the team never has to shrink photos first.
  • What you see first loads first — the large image at the top loads before anything else, and we took the fade-in off the top of the page after measuring more than a second lost just waiting for the animation. Sections further down keep their effects.
  • Server next to the data — moved the server to the same place as the database, which fixed slow page loads and admin saves that hung.
  • No guessing image sizes — every upload field states the recommended size and ratio for banners, logos and cover images.

The result

Google’s speed test (PageSpeed Insights) scores 100 on desktop and 97 on mobile, with 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO.

The team adds reviews, articles and client logos on their own without asking a developer, and sees them on the live site as soon as they hit Publish.

Why speed matters for a site that runs ads

Most people who tap an ad are on a phone, often inside the Facebook or Instagram in-app browser, which is slower to begin with. If they land on a blank screen, they go back to scrolling — but the click has already been paid for.

The Hi Marketer homepage gets the largest thing on screen showing as fast as possible, so visitors can tell they’re in the right place from the first second. Google Ads also counts landing-page speed as part of an ad’s quality score.

An SEO score of 100 doesn’t mean page one

What the score says is that Google can read the whole site with nothing in the way. Whether it ranks still depends on the content and the competition for each search term. That’s why the team can write articles and edit each page’s title themselves — it’s the part that needs ongoing work.
